Her services span the globe with an impressive long list of clients, but what most attracted us to Ana is her big heart. She volunteers and donates a generous portion of proceeds from her business. What is your favorite quote or life motto?
Life is about building personal relationships and I can gratefully say that life gives me that opportunity every day through Gambino Fashion Consulting. It is rewarding to see our clients happy and smiling as we transform lives through fashion during our conversations and consultations either online or in-person.
Tell us a little bit about you.
I was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil with a Jewish-Italian/Greek heritage combined by being deeply influenced by the arts, classical music and creativity. Upon concluding my Bachelors degree in Tourism & Hospitality focusing on Marketing and Business Administration, I had the pleasure of working for major companies during my college years, such as the largest Brazilian Airlines at the time, and was selected as the only student from my University, to work at the largest Travel Agency to this day serving the public, located at the largest mall in Latin America. Right after graduating, I was hired by IBM-Lenovo, and there I had the privilege to be part of a leading team and learn a great deal of what working for an international company looks like, which greatly inspired me to continue to pursue my dreams abroad. I, then, immigrated as a student by myself and, not knowing what to expect, to San Francisco in California. Later that year, I then relocated to Miami, Florida as a student. Shortly after, I engaged in the most gratifying volunteer work and had the honor and opportunity to become an American citizen. The pursuit of my dreams was not over and I was thankfully awarded with the highest Honors and Certifications in Fashion, Marketing, Etiquette, Professional Posture, Business Recognition by Cambridge University and two outstanding certifications in Image Consulting as well as Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online; which all that acquired knowledge and experience through a lot of dedication and hard-work propelled the idea of flourishing Gambino Fashion Consulting.
What inspired you to start Gambino Fashion Consulting?
The desire to help individuals with how to elevate their confidence levels through fashion, helping them in how to achieve their personal and career goals, excel and succeed, if applied the right techniques, in their business or brand, save time and money. Our international team of certified fashion consultants work with individuals that are looking to increase their confidence levels and monthly revenue, travel, life & personal changes such as, but not limited to, marriages, transitions in their careers, getting promoted to a higher paying position, activities and daily lifestyle. We also work with international and local department stores, boutiques, established and emerging fashion designers focusing on promoting their brand, increasing exposure and revenue, if the right techniques are applied, through fashion shows, social media and trunk shows.
What is it that you love most about what you do?
I am passionate about serving individuals with my fashion consulting business, and also volunteering for worthy causes and charities, and every year we donate a generous portion of our proceeds. Our clients are thrilled that they are not only benefiting themselves but others in-need as well when they acquire our services. It’s a WIN WIN! I love serving people and I am fortunate enough to have a career that facilitates that goal every day.
Please describe what a day might look like when a client works with you. What is the process?
We strive to always listen to our clients, friends, associates and social media followers and, with that being said, we are happy to share that we have a growing number of real and positive reviews and testimonials on our Website, Google and Facebook page. The process is quite simple and straightforward. First time and in-person clients we will meet at the offices either located in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach in the state of Florida, Sao Paulo, Brazil or Athens, Greece. The first consultation is 60 minutes and entails a premium questionnaire, lifestyle, action plan and how to achieve your goals aiming with short or long-term efforts. After our first in-person meeting, we will schedule our styling and personal shopping consultation which is 90 minutes and we will meet at a designated place chosen by the certified fashion stylist, which will either be at a local boutique, department store or at their home, specifically in their closet. It varies if the client is looking for something new or sustainable in the case of reusing and recycling their wardrobe. We can also assist our clients through our premium online consultations which follow the same process, but the certified fashion consultant is not accompanying the client, although we do offer live personal shopping consultations through our technology-based apps. Gambino Fashion Consulting Team and I offer a range of possibilities to accommodate and facilitate a one-of-a-kind and flawless experience. We can work with private individuals or corporations such as small, large groups or one-on-one, always providing the highest levels of trust, privacy and confidentiality, unless the client specifies otherwise. Our techniques and proven track record receive positive feedback when also working with established and emerging fashion designers as well as with local boutiques and department stores.
You’ve accomplished so much already, but to date, what would you consider your greatest accomplishment?
Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s greatly appreciated. I cannot specify, because every client, every event and every collaboration are considered my greatest accomplishments. I cherish and value each moment and experience. Everyone is special and I believe it is important to have discipline, promptness, a positive mindset, dedication and consistency, which will give you a proven and successful track record that will speak volumes through your actions. Your work will flourish and great accomplishments will automatically follow. Every client’s interaction is so unique and special. Our clients must feel safe, comfortable and valued when they are working with the Gambino Fashion Consulting Team. We started out with 10 people and slowly and surely we have grown our network of clients, affiliates, associates, team members, partners and social media followers, serving a global community.
What is one fact that most would not know about you?
The fact that I hold over twenty certifications in cyber security and technology. I greatly enjoy the learning process of so many relevant topics in life.
When you’re not working, what’s your favorite thing to do?
I enjoy watching fashion and how it has evolved throughout the decades.
Now let’s talk fashion! How would you describe your personal style?
In my opinion, my personal style is effortless and timeless. Others say: elegant and classy.
Does your style change depending on where you are? For instance, when you’re in Greece, how you dress differently than when in Florida? And in Brazil?
My style remains the same, but I will dress according to the climate, season and mood of each country. I usually add some fun accessories in Greece, such as fashionable hats and scarves. In Brazil, a more business-oriented wardrobe.
What’s your go-to outfit when you’re pressed for time?
Navy blue crepe pants, white silk blouse with a solid color blazer.
What is your fashion or beauty indulgence?
French and Italian designers.
What is your favorite footwear brand?
Chanel, Ferragamo & Stuart Weitzman are my favorites. I favor comfortability and high quality. I always advise my clients to wear your pair of shoes as if they were made for you.
What are three key wardrobe pieces every woman should invest in?
My expert opinion: Blazer, Silk Scarf and Maxi Dress are must-have pieces. They are versatile and can be combined with other pieces while exuding a fresh air of elegance and adding confidence.
