What is your favorite quote or life motto?

I have a few but one is, "Every day may not be good but there's something good in every day."

Tell us a bit about you and how do you juggle it all?

I am a mom to four kids ages 6 years old and under, a wife, a pediatric provider, and a blogger.  Blogging came about several years ago while in school for my masters degree and looking for an outlet.  Since I always loved fashion, I came across blogging and saw it as something I could use to express my love of fashion during my study breaks as an outlet, expression and to connect with others.  It's been several years now and my life has changed through the years but now with kids in school, I give myself some "me time" to do my blog/youtube/social media.  During their school breaks when they are home more, I work on it when they go to bed or take naps.  Juggling it all I'd be lying if I said I didn't have help and with God of course.  I have a full time nanny at home and a helpful, supportive husband. My parents and in-laws are also incredibly helpful.

If you weren’t in medicine, what other career path would you have pursued?

I would have loved to have been an attorney.  As much as I love my field, I always loved law too and considered going to law school. However, I got married and plans changed with no law school available locally and distance was not an option. Regardless, I would've wanted to combine both fields like work as an attorney for nurses, a hospital, a medical practice or so.

You’ve accomplished so much already, but to date, what would you consider your greatest accomplishment?

Thank you! I'd say getting my doctorate because I was the first in my immediate family to get this highest level of education and I was pregnant during the last months of it which made it more challenging.

What’s the one life lesson/words of wisdom you hope to instill in your children?

Besides being a good person, I'd like to instill in them to work hard and be financially independent, not to rely on anyone financially.

What are some future goals that you have for you both personally and professionally?

Personally, to continue finding a good balance so I can be a loving and present wife and mother all while not losing myself.  Professionally, my goal is to continue to learn and stay current with practices, all while delivering evidence-based care when practicing.

What is one fact that most would not know about you?

I was a few credits short of having a political science degree.

Now let’s talk fashion! How would you describe your personal style?

Versatile, classy, effortless, with a bit of trendy and some glam. My style can be very versatile in that I am open to some trends but only if it works with my body.  I will not wear something just because everyone is wearing it. I like a mini skirt worn tastefully but also love a good midi dress or maxi skirt

What’s your go-to outfit when you’re pressed for time?

A simple-to-wear dress with dressy sandals or converse depending on where I'm going.

What’s your fashion or beauty indulgence?

Manicures/pedicures, facial moisturizers, and luxury bags.

Any tips you can share on how to effortlessly mix high low fashion?

Wear more inexpensive clothing pieces preferably in neutrals, black, whites, beiges, with great fabric choices (non-flimsy fabrics) paired with a beautiful luxury bag or luxury shoes to elevate an outfit effortlessly.

Favorite shoe style?

I love boots. I love all boot styles whether it's ankle, flat, tall, over the knee, western etc.

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Years ago my husband would probably say Mark Wahlberg or David Beckham haha!

Which cocktail best describes your personality?

Champagne. I looked this up to see what it said about cocktails and personalities and although I like a good margarita, champagne (which I also like) described me better. Just like it stated, I love to celebrate a special occasion and I have  expensive taste.

If you could have dinner with any three guests, who would they be?

My late paternal grandfather who passed away when I was very little, Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley or Michael Jackson.
