What is your favorite quote or life motto?

Everything is always working out for me.

You’re a Luxury Closest Designer and truly a Closet Expert. How long have you been designing closets and how did this fabulous journey begin?

It began in 2012 when I launched my business, Closet Editors. Before that, I was working as a fashion coordinator for many top brands, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of fashion. During this time, I also started a luxury personal shopping business, helping clients shop for events, travel, work, and refreshing their wardrobes quarterly. In the process of meeting clients in-store or at their homes for fittings, I noticed a recurring theme, many of their closets were disorganized and chaotic. I found myself naturally stepping in to help edit and organize their spaces, transforming cluttered closets into functional, stylish sanctuaries. This sparked the idea for Closet Editors. I realized that everyone has a closet, and many busy professionals struggle with clutter build-up. I wanted to help these individuals not only dress well but also enjoy an organized, functional, and streamlined closet with a curated wardrobe they love. And that's how my fabulous journey began—turning the art of closet organization and design into a luxury experience, one beautifully arranged closet at a time.

What inspires your designs?

My designs are inspired by my clients unique tastes, organizational needs, luxury boutiques, and home aesthetics. I merge functionality with style in all my designs. I want my clients to feel like they are walking into their favorite boutique every day!

What do you love most about what you do?

I love being able to travel and have the flexibility to help my clients in multiple cities and states. I’m a people person, so being able to meet so many amazing people and help bring their dream closet into reality, brings me so much joy! I love fashion and I get to organize and curate beautiful wardrobes, it’s truly my dream career.

What’s the number one mistake others do when organizing our closets?

The number one is failing to declutter first. Instead of sorting through and removing items that are no longer needed or used, many people try to organize everything they have, which results in overcrowded and inefficient use of space. Decluttering helps ensure that only necessary items are kept, making the organizing process much easier.

Why is it important for us to have a well-appointed closet?

It's essential for efficiency and convenience, as it saves time and reduces stress by making everything easily accessible and organized. It enhances personal style, you’re able to effortlessly mix and match outfits and shop your own closet. Additionally it maximizes your storage, keeping your closet streamlined and clutter-free.

You’ve accomplished so much already, but to date, what would you consider your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment was being featured in People magazine. The article showcased expert organizing hacks for your home, and Marie Kondo, whom I adore, was at the top of the list. I felt honored to be recognized as one of the experts, it was truly one of the highlights of my career.

What are some future goals that you have for you, both personally and professionally?

I would love to become trilingual by learning Spanish and French. I can speak a few words, but my goal is fluency. Professionally, I plan to develop my own closet accessory products and expand internationally. I also envision hosting my own show to help women design, edit, and organize their closets.

What is one fact that most would not know about you?

I was a professional figure skater! I competed nationally and won medals in solo performances and with an ice skating team. Fun fact: I met Kristi Yamaguchi, and we practiced together in LA. It was definitely one of the highlights of my career as a figure skater; she was amazing on the ice.

What is the best piece of business advice you’ve received?
