Jordan Leckness Mcclanahan and I actually met several years ago in the fabulous city of Shanghai. We were introduced by a mutual contact over an impressive breakfast brunch at the Grand Hyatt on the 80+ floor and we simply clicked. Since that morning of effortless conversation, our paths have yet to cross again, but thanks to social media, distance is merely a physical constraint.
Lots has happened to this stylish, well-traveled, ultra nice, Mandarin-speaking Southern Cali-native. Jordan is a newlywed and her wedding was very Instagram-worthy. Her bubbly spirit and love for fitness makes her the perfect Barre Fitness instructor. Aside from her regular day job, Jordan has been passionately teaching Barre classes for 6 years and her clients are known as #barrebabes.

How would you describe your overall style?
Classy, elegant, and sophisticated.
What's your go-to outfit when you're pressing for time?
All black without a doubt! Black high-waist motto leggings or high-waist jeans, black blouse or basic v-neck, black boots, and a cute fitted blazer or jacket
What's your fashion or beauty indulgence?
I love getting eyelash extensions! I am obsessed with the volume cateye look.
Which shoe brand do you love the most?
Having worked at Nordstrom all throughout high school and college, pretty much anything I can find in their woman’s shoe department. But my favorite brand for all boots, heels, pumps, is Vince Camuto. (My wedding shoes were a pair of Vince Camtuo point toe pumps fully covered in crystals with ivory silk heel...I definitely need to find a place to wear those again...haha!)
What's your favorite shoe style?
Classic point toe pumps.
What's your go-to pair of shoes?
Black booties with a block heel.
Why did you choose the “Elegance” set of shoe inserts and shoe bag out of all the prints?
First of all, I love the name and anything black and white reminds me of classic and timeless or the designer brand Chanel which I love.
Where would you love to travel to next?
Tahiti or back to eastern/southeast Asia.
What inspires you and what are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my faith in my Heavenly Father who loves me. I am passionate about helping others feel great about themselves. I am passionate about teaching barre fitness classes. I am inspired by my husband who believes in me and makes me want to be the best version of myself that I can be. I am inspired by the natural positive energy of others. I am inspired by the law of attraction and the concept that ‘you attract what you think most about’.
Speaking of Barre Fitness, how did you become an instructor?
Fitness and training have always been a part of my lifestyle with my background in dance, ballet, and tennis. So it was natural for me to continue training in some physical aspect after I graduated from California Lutheran University where I also played woman's tennis. In 2012, I received my pilates certification in Shanghai, then I received my barre certification by a well-renowned Australian instructor based out of Hong Kong. Since then, I've been certified in a variety of group fitness workouts. But Barre Fitness is a combination of pilates, cardio, and dance technique which makes for the best overall body workout.

The late Jim Rohn - personal development coach/motivational speaker, Tony Robbins - life coach/entrepreneur, & Barbara Corcoran - American businesswoman/investor.
